Listings marked Best offer let you name your own price instead of paying the asking price.
Making an offer
Enter an amount and, optionally, a short message. The seller chooses how long they have to respond โ usually 48 hours โ and the offer expires on its own if they do not.
You can have one open offer per listing at a time. Making a new one withdraws your previous offer.
Instant decisions
Sellers can set two thresholds:
- An auto-accept amount. Offer at or above it and the item is yours immediately.
- An auto-decline amount. Offers below it are turned away without the seller ever seeing them.
Neither threshold is shown to buyers, so an instant answer is not a sign anyone was sitting at their keyboard.
Counter-offers
A seller can counter instead of accepting or declining. That opens a new offer in the other direction, which you can then accept, decline or counter again. The whole exchange stays on the Offers page.
